Your cock ring doesn’t quite fit right.
It fits okay. There’s nothing wrong with it. It just doesn’t fit as well as it could.
If you try on a few random sizes of shoes, one will fit better than the others. But that doesn’t make it your size.
Because there are a lot more than a few sizes of feet. Hell, there are even half sizes.
Perfect Fit is the first company to let you find your cock ring size the way you find your shoe size, offering a slew of rings with slightly different internal diameters.
Accurate to a Tenth of an Inch
I reviewed VeDO’s Bolt Silicone Cock Ring Set and it’s damn good. But, like nearly all cock ring sets, it includes three far-spaced sizes: 1.3″, 1.5″, and 1.8″ in internal diameter. There are many more sizes between and beyond these three.
How many?
Perfect Fit offers 14 sizes of Xact-Fit cock rings, each only 0.1″ in internal diameter apart. The smallest has a 1.0″ internal diameter and the largest goes up to 2.3″. When you try a size that doesn’t quite fit right, you can get a size that’s only slightly bigger or smaller, just like you can with shoes.
However, buying 14 sizes of cock rings individually can get real expensive real quick. So Perfect Fit also offers them in packs of three. The Medium pack has rings with internal diameters of 1.4″, 1.5″, and 1.6″, which they call #14, #15, and #16. The Large pack has 1.7″, 1.8″, and 1.9″, and the X-Large pack has 2.0″, 2.1″, and 2.2″. I have the Medium and Large packs.
The Mixed Pack
There’s also a Mixed pack, which has 1.4″, 1.7″, and 2.0″ rings.
Seems out of place, doesn’t it? It commits the same sin as other cock ring sets, having sizes too far apart for anyone to find their goldilocks.
But I view the Mixed pack as the most important one Perfect Fit offers. If you’re new to cock rings, finding your optimal size is a two stage process:
- Get the Mixed pack and try each size. This allows you to figure out which of the other 3-packs you need. For example, if you find the 1.4″ ring too tight and the 1.7″ too loose, your goldilocks ring will be either the 1.5″ or the 1.6″, so you need the Medium pack.
- Get the second 3-pack you need and rejoice as you finally wear a cock ring that fits as well as your shoes.
If you’ve tried one or two cock rings before, you may be able to skip the Mixed pack. But don’t be surprised if you still end up needing a second 3-pack.
Not all cock rings of the same internal diameter feel the same. The 1.5″ Bolt, for example, feels looser than the 1.5″ Xact-Fit. They’re made by two different manufacturers who happen to use two different firmnesses of silicone.
A cock ring’s level of stretchiness doesn’t affect how comfortable it is. But it does affect which size is best for you. So if the cock rings you’ve tried stretch a different amount than the Xact-Fit rings, you may think your goldilocks size is in the one 3-pack when it’s really in another.
Value
Isn’t this getting expensive, since you may need to buy two 3-packs—six rings—to find the one that fits you best?
Yeah, a bit. Unlike with shoes, you need to buy cock rings before you try them on, so you can end up with five rings you’ll never use again. But if that’s the price of finding your personal goldilocks, I think it’s worth it.
Different Sizes for Different Moods
And don’t be so certain you’ll never use the other sizes again.
My goldilocks ring is the 1.8″, but it’s not the only one I use. The 1.7″ is slightly too tight, but sometimes I want a tight fit. The 1.9″ is slightly too loose, but sometimes I want a relaxed fit.
So the best size for me depends on my mood. This is a luxury other cock rings can’t provide. Going 0.1″ tighter can be fun, but even 0.2″ is too much. Because other cock ring sets have more distantly spaced sizes, you’re not allowed to be in a mood for a tighter or looser ring. You just get the one size that kinda sorta fits.
Lamentation of the Shaft Ring
There’s a problem with Perfect Fit’s Xact-Fit 3-Packs: They only span nine of the 14 sizes.
It’s not a big deal the 2.3″ size is left out. If you find the X-Large pack doesn’t quite meet your needs, you only have one option left.
But if you find the Medium pack too big, you have four sizes left to explore and no economical way to figure out which one is best for you.
If you prefer to wear your cock ring behind your balls, you probably don’t need to worry about this. Your optimal size is likely at least 1.4″ in internal diameter. This may not be the case with other manufacturers’ rings, but the Xact-Fits stretch somewhat less than most silicone cock rings.
However, if you want to wear your ring in front of your balls, only around your shaft, you should be miffed.
My penis is on the thicker side, but the 1.4″ size is still too spacious to restrict my blood flow, so I can’t use it as a shaft ring. I’m certain one of the smaller Xact-Fits would make the perfect shaft ring for me, but I have no idea which one. I’d love to buy a Small 3-pack that includes the 1.1″, 1.2″, and 1.3″ sizes, but Perfect Fit doesn’t offer this and I don’t want to pay a premium to get each size individually.
Round but Not Rolly
A design flaw many cock rings share is that their inside edges are too round, so they roll up the shaft when they’re supposed to stay in place.
See that? There’s a flat portion inside the ring, but it’s still pretty round. So I expected the Xact-Fit to roll up my shaft while I wore it, yanking my pubes.
But it didn’t happen. It stayed in place.
I think there are two reasons for this pleasant surprise:
- The flat portion may look modest, but it’s enough to help prevent the ring from rolling.
- Rolling is a much bigger problem with loose cock rings. Because it’s easy to find an Xact-Fit ring that fits you not just okay, but almost perfectly, I doubt you’ll encounter any rolling.
Goldilocks = Comfort and Performance
There are other great cock rings, but none have as many sizes as Perfect Fit’s Xact-Fit. This bouquet of rings allows you to find your goldilocks size, one that’s spacious enough to be comfy, yet tight enough to restrict blood flow, enhance sensation, and strengthen orgasms.
