I have no idea how to pick the right cock ring size and neither does anyone else. If you think you know, I beg to differ.

Here’s the best sizing advice I can offer:

Wrap a tape measure around the base of your erection and your balls. If you’d prefer to wear your cock ring around only your dick, leave your balls out of it. Now divide your measurement by pi. Choose a cock ring with a diameter smaller than this.

How much smaller?

I have no idea.

Because the size of a cock ring cannot be encompassed merely by its diameter. Different cock rings stretch different amounts, depending on their firmness and how thick they are.

And different people enjoy different levels of tightness. Two people can have identical penises and prefer entirely different sizes.

This is why you need to test out several sizes. If you’re new to cock rings and you buy only one, it probably won’t fit great. It may fit okay, but you deserve better than okay.

Design Quirks

What are the Bolt’s hexagonal corners for?

Nothing. Just a design quirk. But I was concerned they might rub against my thighs and cause discomfort.

And now I feel dumb because I can’t feel them at all during use. So if you share my dumb concern, you can stop worrying about it.

I was also concerned about the Bolt’s interior design:

Rather than being flat, it has two ridges. I suspected this could be uncomfortable.

And, once again, I feel dumb. Comparing the Bolt with one of my cock rings that has a flat interior, both feel equally comfortable. The ridges make no difference.

Lube

I should clarify, the Bolt feels comfortable with lube. Without lube, it will—like any cock ring—pull at your pubes.

You don’t need much, but you do need it. Many people try a cock ring once and hate it because they neglected to use lube. Don’t be that person.

Double the Rings, Double the Intensity

There’s another benefit of buying a cock ring set rather than a single cock ring: wearing two at once.

You may prefer different size(s), but I personally love using the smallest Bolt around just my dick and the largest around both my dick and balls. Either one feels great by itself. But if I wear both at the same time…
